Eugene Wine Cellars’ cozy tasting room is tucked away inside this shiny silver warehouse. It’s one of Eugene’s best-kept secrets, but not for long. They aim to not only exist within the community, but to bring benefit to the community. All plates, cups, silverware, etc are compostable and this fun food cart tries to use the most sustainable practices possible. Being gluten free is part of this as well, creating a space where those who require it can order and eat with peace of mind while at the same time being not only gluten free but delicious in its own right where everyone can enjoy food together. Ninkasi Brewing Company

Ninkasi has been on an unstoppable journey since its inaugural brew in 2006. Relocating production to its Whitaker location in 2007, Ninkasi has continued to embrace and embody the area’s eclectic arts scene, inspiring award-winning beer and an unwavering focus on community. Oakshire Brewing Public House

A brewery founded on strength, connection, and community, Oakshire Brewing has become a pillar of the Eugene beer scene. When their Public House opened its doors in the Whiteaker neighborhood, it allowed people to fully experience Oakshire’s mission. A rustic, open-air hangout with picnic tables and food-carts outside, Oakshire Brewing Public House has twenty frequently-rotating small batch brews on offer. A great spot for families and friends of all ages; children allowed until 9 pm!


Hop Valley Brewing Co.

Hop Valley Brewing Company began in 2009 with a simple mission: to put the “craft” in craft beer.The recipe for great-tasting beer requires more than just the ingredients listed; it also needs heart and soul. Hop Valley delivers this in abundance with twenty-five of their unique brews on tap at their Whitaker Tasting Room. Along with delicious draft beer, a full menu is available featuring sandwiches, soups and salads, pizza, and even dessert! A 12-foot projection screen shows all the major sporting events and a huge patio gives plenty of space for you to relax in the warm weather.


Territorial Vineyards & Wine Company

What was once a 12,000 square-foot coffee warehouse is now home to Eugene’s premiere urban winery. The only winery in Eugene city limits, and located in the heart of the Whiteaker neighborhood, Territorial Vineyards & Wine Company creates a distinct vibe that is all its own. Stop in for a drink at their Swanky Wine Room to enjoy a variety of house-made wines, craft beers, and artisan ciders. In addition to a rotating cast of guest-wines, small bites and snacks are also available. In the mood for live music? Catch intimate and entertaining performances every Thursday and Friday. Vanilla Jill’s Scoops & Soups

Vanilla Jill’s embodies the innovative spirit of the Whitaker area by turning a classic ice cream shop on its head. Along with classic flavors, paleo and gluten-free recipes (such as blueberry spirulina) are implemented, catering to diet-minded individuals and traditionalists alike. Not ready for dessert? Try one of their tasty soups or sandwiches! The same philosophy applies as organically sourced vegetables and farm-raised meats are utilized throughout the menu. Last but definitely not least, check out the paleo/gluten-free baked goods on offer. Wish you could take Vanilla Jill’s home with you? The Wheel Apizza Pub and Brewery

The Wheel Apizza Pub brings its distinctive “New Haven”-style pies to the Whitaker along with a slew of tasty craft beers. The key to Wheel Apizza’s unique flavor and texture is derived from a sourdough crust, made with local wheat from Camas Country Mill located in Junction City. Combined with a hearty homemade sauce and an array of delicious toppings, Wheel Apizza wonderfully blends rustic Oregon ingredients with East Coast pizza methodology. Pizza is served by the slice every day from 11 am to 3 pm; slice options include cheese and pepperoni, along with weekly meat and vegetarian specials. Old Nick’s Pub

Since turning on its speakers in 2015, Old Nick’s Pub has been rocking nonstop. Born as a venue for touring bands “too big for the bars” and not ready to sell out major venues, Old Nick’s has served as the perfect medium. It quickly established itself as Eugene’s top-spot for hard rock, punk, and metal. While leaning toward heavier tones, an array of events find their way to Old Nick’s stage, with the likes of comedy shows, burlesque events, Irish jams, and more on offer. Sam Bond’s Garage

Sam Bond’s Garage has been a hub of entertainment in the Whitaker since 1995. Founded on strong community values, Sam Bond’s features there very own microbrews on tap, along with a rotating line of locally and regionally produced wine and spirits; a perfect complement to a menu of organic bites. Boasting one of the West Coast’s best concert venues, the Garage is the perfect place to experience your favorite acts live and up-close! A proponent of the Whitaker arts scene for nearly twenty-five years, Sam Bond’s also gives space for local artists to display their visual work. A true embodiment of the Whitaker spirit, a stop at Sam Bond’s Garage is a must for locals and tourists alike.


ColdFire Brewing Company

263 Mill St, Eugene, OR 97401

One of Eugene’s younger microbreweries, Cold Fire brewing company was born out of two brothers and homebrewers deciding to make their passion a career. Working in small batches, the Hughes brothers grounded ColdFire’s brewing philosophy in the European tradition, melded with Oregon’s Northwestern aesthetic. A converted warehouse on 2nd and Mill serves as their family-friendly tasting room. Partnering with local food trucks ensures that ColdFire’s beer enthusiasts never go hungry. Twisted Tako is onsite Tuesday through Saturday and The Dipper takes up residence Sunday and Monday.


Heritage Distilling Co.

Heritage Distilling Co. (HDC) is a craft distillery based in Gig Harbor, Washington. HDC is the most awarded craft distillery in North America by the American Distilling Institute five years in a row and proudly opened the doors to its Eugene location in 2016. A Craft Distillery, majority-owned by women and family operated, HDC manages the entire process of making our spirits by hand – from identifying and working directly with the farmers growing their grains, to ensuring the purity of their water source, milling the grain, making their own mash and wort, and running their own custom made stills.


Tap & Growler

Founded on a practice dating back to Prohibition times, the Tap & Growler does its part to keep taproom tradition alive. Harkening back to an age when a pint and growler was the centerpiece of communal conversation, their Whitaker location has a huge array of libations to satisfy the tastes of all patrons. 81 taps line the wall and feature the very best in craft beer, wine, cider, mead,  kombucha, cold pressed espresso, and craft soda. Stay for a glass of your choice elixir, and then take some home in a growler. Bring your own growler in or purchase one onsite, with sizes ranging from 16 oz. to 64 oz., and material, from glass to ceramic to stainless steel.


Thinking Tree Spirits

Thinking Tree is an Oregon grain to bottle experience. The bottles of booze are gorgeous. The tasting room is small enough to feel relaxed and thoughtful while still big enough to invite your full group of family and friends to marvel over the tree sculpture in the middle of the room. It’s a work of art. This focus on craft is essential to their spirit, excuse the pun. This is not the place for Miller beer slamming bar flies. It’s hip, a little fancy and dedicated to supporting community that the environment. Think sustainability meets roaring 20’s at an art fair. You’ll love it.


Blairalley Vintage Arcade

Blairally is a Barcade devoted to the preservation, restoration & sharing of retro Pinball & Arcade. Although you may think this is impossible to achieve, but Blairalley is both a great place to bring your neonates during the day, before 9pm and a great place to shake your booty late at light. It’s both a Whiteaker locals dive bar and museum of memories and kitch. They serve great food and put on solid events. There is a change machine there so you don’t need to rob your piggy bank for change.


Wildcraft Cider Works

At WildCraft Cider Works, they pride themselves on developing innovative, artisanal dry ciders inspired by traditional and wild methodology. They insist on whole fruits and botanicals grown in Oregon to create pure ciders without artificial flavorings, sulfites or added sweeteners. WildCraft Cider is uniquely dry cider unpasteurized & bottle conditioned. These folks are stewards of the outdoors and always act consciously to ensure that our ingredients are regional. You will find some of the most unique coder flavor choices such as rose, sage and quince. The full cabin vibe also works well with the americana musical acts that come through. It’s not just a tasting room. It’s a serious music venue.


Capitello Wines

Experience artisan wines from Oregon and New Zealand in this relaxed urban tasting room.Why New Zealand? Owner and wine maker, Ray Walsh grew up there. He says “I learned about grape growing in New Zealand, and I learned about winemaking here in Oregon, so I feel really blessed to be able to produce wines from each distinctive region to showcase the stark contrasts of terroir from opposite ends of the world."


Beergarden Tap Room and Food Truck Pod

Sweet Cheeks on 5th

Enjoy all of your favorite Sweet Cheeks Winery wines in the heart of downtown Eugene at the beautiful Fifth Street Public Market. You can find it upstairs where you have the choice of indoor or patio seating. Open year round, with live music every Friday evening, delicious cheese plates, and cozy atmosphere. They also welcome the opportunity to host your private events, small gatherings, or fundraising events. Additional tasting room at their vineyard on Briggs Hill Road.


Oregon Wine L.A.B.

Oregon Wine L.A.B. is an urban winery and tasting room in Eugene, OR. They produce their own label, William Rose Wines, onsite, and also pour wines from other Local.Artisan.Brands. They host Eugene's favorite food truck, Da Nang Vietnamese Eatery on their large patio. Super knowledgeable staff help you broaden your palate and educate you on our Eugene area wines. Check out their calendar of special events including the popular Yoga and Mimosas.


Blackboard Wine Bar in Provisions Market Place

Within the market hall, Blackboard is a small bistro where you can experience anything from the Provisions menu, along with oysters on the half shell, cheese and salumi plates and more. We also have a rotating selection of more than 20 wines and several craft beers available by the glass. Stop by for a snack or a drink and watch the bustle of the market go by.


Cornucopia Bar & Burgers

Cornucopia’s mission is to offer excellent fresh food, a friendly atmosphere, a great selection of beverages combined with warm service. Our restaurants are neighborhood hubs built for friends and families, people of all ages and types, to relax, socialize and enjoy each other’s company while getting to meet new people. Whether it’s the neighbor down the street or the tourist visiting from out of town, Cornucopia is a community gathering place for all.



5th Street Public Market, Eugene.

They take their name from the French word for market — a word that describes not only our location in Eugene, Oregon’s bustling 5th Street Public Market, but also our philosophy. The menu is based on the foods you would find at the farmers market — fresh, seasonal, and local. They are inspired by French technique and committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, so our menu evolves as we move through the seasons. This is a fun stop within the “Boozy Brunch” tour available only on Sat/Sun 9:30am-11:30am. It’s a great time to visit the bar to try a Mimosa or Bloody Mary. There is not much time, so only drinks and small bites please.


Threadbare Print House & Design

Not only did these ladies design Pacific Pub Cycle’s new logo and print our bad ass shirts, they also are incredible human beings. Amy and her team create amazing screen printing and design for business all over the area. They also put their time and talents in support of local non profit organizations following their feminist ideals.

Trans*Ponder is a grassroots, completely transgender founded and led nonprofit based in Eugene, Oregon. It provides support, resources, and education for the trans/gender diverse community and its allies. Trans*Ponder offers several monthly meetings, special events for trans/gender diverse folks and allies, inclusivity trainings, and consultation services to professional organizations and businesses.


HIV Alliance

HIV Alliance was formed in Eugene, OR in 1994 to support individuals living with HIV/AIDS and prevent new HIV infections. Over the years, state funding towards HIV prevention has suffered severe cuts. To counteract this, non-profits, including HIV Alliance, have widened their service scopes despite the already limited budgets they operate under. This expansion of services includes education on HIV and HCV (Hepatitis C), behavioral health for current and new clients, and a variety of events to reach out to our communities.


Looking Glass - Bike for Hope

Looking Glass Community Services is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that has been dedicated to serving Lane County since 1970. Their programs span the diverse fields of behavioral health, alcohol and drug abuse support, basic human services, juvenile justice, education, youth development, and workforce readiness.

Bike for Hope 2019: Group bicycle ride fundraiser in June. All funds help at-risk youth clients and programs.


Alzheimer’s Association - 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer's

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease!


Eugene Burrito Brigade

Burrito Brigade is a non-profit 501c(3) organization whose mission is to feed the hungry and unhoused in Oregon by hand-delivering vegan meals for free. There is enough food in Oregon to feed every hungry person, but there is a lack of access. This group of amazing volunteers engage the community in the fight to end hunger through a network of volunteers and partnerships with organizations.  They believe that food is a basic human right. We agree. This is why we are helping them raise funds with our kick off party on June 8th!


The Great Whiteaker Clean-Up

This special community driven event has grown so much in recent years and we couldn't have done it without you! What started as a casual gathering between friends 14 years ago is now a recognized effort that helps improve the appeal and livability of the Whit and an official yearly event attended by the Eugene Mayor and sponsored by major local businesses. Hundreds of volunteers, many dressed in super hero capes, clean up the neighborhood together. There is a parade and an after party. Pacific Pub Cycle is a proud sponsor, and is donating a free tour to be raffled off.


Point2point at Lane Transit District - 2019 Business Commute Challenge

This annual event encourages community members to get excited about the Challenge. Last year, more than 2,700 participants, accepted the Challenge and formed 233 workplace teams representing 138 local businesses. Participants saved 95,213 miles of drive alone travel, eliminating 97,213 pounds of CO2 and reducing over 176,000 calories! The Business Commute Challenge is a win-win for our area’s businesses, employees, and the entire community, by reducing congestion and greenhouse gasses, as well as saving commuters money and helping them to reduce calories by using active transportation.

Eugene Brews Cruise 5k

It's a beautiful "out & back" style course that incorporates scenic sections of the bike paths along the Willamette River, Delta Ponds; crossing the Greenway Bridge (VRC) and Delta Hwy Bridge twice! The finish line celebration will be located at Hop Valley Brewing Co., just two blocks south of the Start/Finish area.  Both the START/FINISH at the Whiteaker School - Post-event at Hop Valley at 990 1st Ave.  Ride the Pacific Pub Cycle to the post-event celebration for a chance to win a FREE tour on a future date.


FOOD for Lane County

Today, FOOD for Lane County is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit food bank dedicated to alleviating hunger by creating access to food. They accomplish this by soliciting, collecting, rescuing, growing, preparing and packaging food for distribution through a network of more than 150 partner agencies and distribution sites; through public awareness, education and community advocacy; and through programs designed to improve the ability of low-income individuals to maintain an adequate supply of wholesome, nutritious food.

Carry It Forward

The name "Carry It Forward" is meant to highlight the mutual benefits of direct service to our unhoused neighbors. their work is designed to reduce suffering by meeting basic human needs while developing a sustainable model for incorporating unhoused individuals in the work of helping themselves and the community. We believe everyone has something to contribute to the greater good and their goal is to bridge gaps in service and build networks that allow our community to grow stronger for all of us. The most important thing that Carry it forward does is to listen. People will tell you what they need if you’re willing to hear it.


Eugene Pride

The Pride Celebration is a social venue for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, gender diverse and sexual minority community. While it is primarily a community event, it also exists for families, friends, allies and guests from all over the Northwest. The Eugene/Springfield Pride Festival is organized each year by a committee of dedicated and resourceful volunteers.


Lane Arts Council

Lane Arts Council, founded in 1976, is a nonprofit organization in Lane County, Oregon that provides in-school arts education programs, supports local artists and arts organizations, and coordinates community arts programs such as Fiesta Cultural and the First Friday ArtWalk. Lane Arts Council cultivates strong and creative arts communities by providing high-quality arts experiences, engaging people of all ages in arts education, and encouraging artistic endeavors.


Better Eugene-Springfield Transportation

BEST is a broad coalition of community leaders and organizations that include the Eugene and Springfield Chambersof Commerce and other business leaders, the University of Oregon and Lane Community College, students, environmental and multi-modal transportation advocates, social service organizations, and neighborhood leaders. On the BEST boards are a former transportation advisor to Oregon’s governor, four former members of the LTD Board of Directors, and a former chair of the Oregon House Transportation Committee. They believe that better transportation is good for the economy, the well being of people, and the environment—for our quality of life!


White Bird Clinic

White Bird Clinic is a collective environment organized to enable people to gain control of their social, emotional, and physical well-being through direct service, education, and community. In 1969, a group of student activists and concerned practitioners came together to provide crisis services and free medical care for counter-culture youth in Eugene. Having grown continuously since then, today White Bird Clinic has 10 programs, 220 staff members, and more than 400 volunteers each year.

Cycle Oregon

Cycle Oregon doesn’t just expose riders to richly diverse Oregon communities. It also provides much-needed financial support to those communities. Proceeds from the rides have been placed in the Cycle Oregon Fund at the Oregon Community Foundation since January 1996, when Cycle Oregon created its fund at the Oregon Community Foundation.


Cascades Raptor Center

The Cascades Raptor Center has one of the largest collections of native raptor species in the Pacific Northwest. Visitors can view nearly 50 birds of prey in large outdoor aviaries. The Raptor Center is open to the public year-round and we schedule educational programs both onsite and offsite for students of all ages. If you are looking for things to do in Eugene, Oregon, the Raptor Center is a great place to bring friends and family.


Shelton McMurphey Johnson House - Women’s Equity Day

This is more than a beautiful house up on the hill that our tours see as they pass. This non-profit organisation’s mission is to preserve the heritage of the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House for the benefit of current and future generations. They accomplish this mission by providing educational opportunities for the community and by hosting events and exhibits that highlight the people and history of Eugene. We are a proud sponsors of Women’s Equity Day Celebration.

Bags of Love

Bags of Love provides necessities and comfort items to children, ages infant through 17, who are struggling with the damaging effects of abuse, neglect, poverty, or homelessness. Last year alone, over 2,200 Lane County children in crisis received a "bag of love" filled with age-appropriate clothing, outerwear, toiletries, school supplies, books, toys and a handmade quilt or fleece blanket. Our amazing volunteers put in tens of thousands of volunteer hours each year to sew quilts, put together bags, and keep our warehouse running.

To reach as many children as possible, they coordinate efforts with over 50 regional nonprofit agencies, government offices and school districts. Agency partners include Womenspace, DHS, Catholic Community Services, Cahoots, Lane Education Service District, Pearl Buck, the FBI, Head Start of Lane County, Willamette Family, the Foster & Adoptive Parent Association, WIC and numerous Lane County Schools. These agencies rely on Bags of Love to provide critical support for the children in their care, and we are there to meet that need.


Boys and Girls Club of Emerald Valley

Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley (BGCEV) has been serving our community since 1999. Located at the Dr. Edwin L. Coleman, Sr. Community Center (formally Westmoreland Community Center), BGCEV is one of the largest and most diverse youth service agencies in the Eugene/ Springfield area. BGCEV had more than 26,000 visits of youth members during 2018 who received the direction and educational support that is vital to their success. Through the work of trained and educated youth development professionals and program specialists, as well as dedicated volunteers and support staff, BGCEV is committed to helping youth reach their full potential.
