ColdFire Brewing Company

One of Eugene’s younger microbreweries, Cold Fire brewing company was born out of two brothers and homebrewers deciding to make their passion a career. Looking Glass - Bike for Hope
Looking Glass Community Services is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that has been dedicated to serving Lane County since 1970. Their programs span the diverse fields of behavioral health, alcohol and drug abuse support, basic human services, juvenile justice, education, youth development, and workforce readiness.
Bike for Hope 2019: Join us for a group bicycle ride fundraiser on Saturday, June 1st at 10:30 AM starting at Dorris Ranch in Springfield. We will gather there briefly, then head down the Middle Fork bike path to Clearwater Park and back again, connecting with the Mill Race bike path and then end at Plank Town Brewing Company for a post-ride drink and lunch as well as some fun raffle drawings. All funds will help our at-risk youth clients and programs. Join us and enjoy a beautiful bike ride while generating crucial funds for Lane County’s most vulnerable youth!
Alzheimer’s Association - 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer's
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease!
Burrito Brigade is a non-profit 501c(3) organization whose mission is to feed the hungry and unhoused in Oregon by hand-delivering vegan meals for free. There is enough food in Oregon to feed every hungry person, but there is a lack of access. This group of amazing volunteers engage the community in the fight to end hunger through a network of volunteers and partnerships with organizations. They believe that food is a basic human right. We agree. This is why we are helping them raise funds with our kick off party on June 8th!
Point2point at Lane Transit District - 2019 Business Commute Challenge
This annual event encourages community members to get excited about the Challenge. Last year, more than 2,700 participants, accepted the Challenge and formed 233 workplace teams representing 138 local businesses. Participants saved 95,213 miles of drive alone travel, eliminating 97,213 pounds of CO2 and reducing over 176,000 calories! The Business Commute Challenge is a win-win for our area’s businesses, employees, and the entire community, by reducing congestion and greenhouse gasses, as well as saving commuters money and helping them to reduce calories by using active transportation.
Whiteaker Block Party
Starting as a group of friends that wanted to celebrate the uniqueness of the Whiteaker neighborhood, This event is here to showcase, promote and inspire the creative pulse of the Whiteaker. In order to keep this event free, they rely on the fact that the event is entirely volunteer driven and donations from people and businesses like us! The Whiteaker Block Party has successfully created a 100% free and volunteer-ran event for the past 12 years.
Eugene Brews Cruise 5k - Labor Day
It's a beautiful "out & back" style course that incorporates scenic sections of the bike paths along the Willamette River, Delta Ponds; crossing the Greenway Bridge (VRC) and Delta Hwy Bridge twice! The finish line celebration will be located at Hop Valley Brewing Co., just two blocks south of the Start/Finish area. Both the START/FINISH at the Whiteaker School - Post-event at Hop Valley at 990 1st Ave. Ride the Pacific Pub Cycle to the post-event celebration for a chance to win a FREE tour on a future date.
FOOD for Lane County - Mother’s Day Wine and Spirits Tour
Today, FOOD for Lane County is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit food bank dedicated to alleviating hunger by creating access to food. They accomplish this by soliciting, collecting, rescuing, growing, preparing and packaging food for distribution through a network of more than 150 partner agencies and distribution sites; through public awareness, education and community advocacy; and through programs designed to improve the ability of low-income individuals to maintain an adequate supply of wholesome, nutritious food.
